Our cruising area takes in on some of the most spectacular scenery in the West Coast of Scotland, rich in history, culture and wildlife.
Sailing out of Holy Loch Marina, near Dunoon, we explore the sea lochs and islands in South Argyll. It feels like another world, and yet it is only an hour from Glasgow. Despite this proximity, the area feels remote and the scenery is so beautiful it can literally take your breath away. There are a series of long slender lochs to explore including Loch Goil, Loch Striven, the Kyles of Bute, Loch Riddon and Loch Fyne. We can visit the Cumbrae Isles, the Island of Bute and the Island of Arran with the tiny and delightful Holy Island lying just off its coast. We can also access the Crinan Canal and go inland to the amazing area of Kilmartin, with its extraordinary archaeological history, which is also known as the birthplace of Scotland.
